How to Make Notes with Fixed-Width Font?

Learn how to set fixed-width text for your notes in SideNotes.

By default, each new note is formatted with Markdown. However, you can turn it off. Especially, if you would like to save some code snippets.

To change the formatting system for a note, click the gear icon (see screenshot) and choose Code mode.

If you usually work with code snippets, you can set is as a default mode in Preferences → Text → Default Text Formatting.
