Make Workspaces do more than open files
Plugins add actions and commands to Workspaces, so a workspace can prepare your environment, clean it up, or help you build new workspaces faster.
How to install
Download a plugin and drag it onto the plugin list in Workspaces Settings → Plugins. You can also keep plugins in the Applications folder.
All the plugins require macOS 14 or newer.
-

Arrange app windows when your workspace starts.
Give every app its place. WindowArranger positions and sizes windows through the native macOS window arrangement, which most apps support.
-

Close everything the workspace opened.
Close apps, browser tabs, Finder windows, and documents that were opened by the workspace. Works well for most apps and browsers.
-

Run shell scripts and AppleScripts as part of your workspace.
Build your project, deploy it, start a local server, turn off distractions, or run any script that belongs to the project.
-

Create workspaces faster from what is already open.
Quickly add Safari, Vivaldi or Opera tabs, visible Finder folders or open apps.
-

Start or pause Music when your workspace starts or finishes.
Open your favourite playlist when you begin work, or stop playback when you switch context.
-

Quit selected apps instantly.
Clean up after a project, remove distractions, or close a whole working context with one action.
-

Trigger a defined keyboard shortcut.
Useful for app-specific commands that are easier to run as a Workspaces action.
-

Open a chosen Apple Notes note.
Keep project notes one click away and open the exact note together with the rest of your workspace.
